„Lingua Matrimonia Study No. 17” represent a part of a continuous artistic process in which every artwork is a fragment of a universal and spiritual search. Eliza Lupu explores the human body through the camera’s lens, capturing the purity, impurity and the uncanniness of reality
About the artist:
Eliza Lupu’s body of work approaches the body both as a symbol and as an archive for memory, beyond conscious thinking. The most important themes of her works are sexuality, intimacy and love, and natural landscapes become extensions of the body, at the intersection of physicality and spirituality.
