Monday, September 18 - sessions in person or online for those who cannot make it to Bucharest with Dr. Wiktoria Michalkiewicz

The masterclass offers an introduction to the world of art galleries. In the first session you will learn about the representation of the photographer from the gallerist's perspective. Then you will learn about the representation of the photographer by the gallery from the perspective of the photographer. The last meeting is about portfolio reviews; each participant will have to prepare a portfolio following Saturday's online sessions. You will learn how a photographer should present his work to be exhibited in a high end gallery, what are the common commercial terms and how to build your portfolio so that you will be successful in convincing the gallery to represent/exhibit you.
