About the exhibition:
“Extended Travel” showcases photographs taken by Adi Bulboacă during a long personal journey through Romania, together with his father. 103 trains, approximately 16,000 km and the month of January 2016 as a continuous journey of reconnection with self and the other. Adi creates a deeply personal image of himself and his country through the trains, train stations and human gestures he sees while travelling, being on the move and in an inner search.
About the artist:
Adi Bulboacă photographs artists, theatre performances, trains, train stations and emotion-provoking moments; he is one of the most famous theatre photographers in Romania. He thinks that his purpose is giving back to the community and sincerely believes in the importance of the teacher’s and mentor’s role.
