This online workshop is designed to help you understand street photography beyond single images. Through the study of key street photography references and a guided two-week shooting assignment, you’ll learn how to create visual and narrative connections between photographs, resulting in a coherent and well-sequenced series. You’ll also receive personalized feedback to help refine your style and strengthen your portfolio.
What you will learn/do:
understand the fundamentals and principles of street photography
create a street photography series over the course of two weeks
gain clarity on your personal visual style
develop practical skills in sequencing and visual storytelling
receive portfolio feedback from an established street photographer

Introduction to street photography, brief portfolio reviews and guidelines for first assignment
Tuesday, June 23, 2026 – 11:00 – 13:00, online
Review of a selection of photographs captured since the last session
Personalized feedback and guidance from Greg for the following week of shooting
Saturday, June 27, 2026 – 11:00 – 13:00, online
Selection of images taken during the workshop with guidance from Greg
Viewing of selected photographs and group critique
Sunday, June 28, 2026 – 11:00 – 13:00, online
Sequencing work: creating visual links or a narrative thread between the selected images
Workshop details:
This workshop is held exclusively online, via Zoom, and is taught in English. It is ideal for photographers who want to deepen their approach to street photography.
About the lecturer:
Greg Mo is a photographer specializing in street photography and conceptual practices. Based in Cambodia, his work explores everyday life, social spaces, and urban narratives with a surreal approach. In 2025, he published “By the Mekong”, a photographic series documenting life along a 200-metre section of the Mekong River in Phnom Penh. Greg has collaborated with brands such as Xiaomi and Leica, and his work has been featured in CNN, France 2, Stern, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Fisheye, and Geo Magazine. His series “Tonle Soap” was exhibited at Les Rencontres d’Arles (2023) and the Angkor Photo Festival (2025). Alongside his personal work, he regularly leads workshops and has taught at the Phnom Penh School of Photography.
