CdRF, Strada Popa Tatu 68, București, România

About the event

You are invited to the end party of the first edition of "Is this a fest?" festival, the official launch of CdRF and to celebrate the start of school. Informal party, relaxed and in good spirits. The music will be provided by Funkoteca lui Cosmin, and the entertainment will take place in the CdRF garden (Popa Tatu 68, Bucharest).

About Funkoteca

Funkoteca started at J'ai Bistrot, in one of the "friends play music at J'ai" nights. It was the first time that Cosmin was officially a DJ, with a poster and everything. It turned out very well, left with dancing on the tables and chattering until the morning. The choice of the funk area came naturally, because Cosmin is black at heart, but in a good way: he plays the best boogie in his Funkoteca, from James Brown to Funkadelic or 90's rap, music he grew up with , by the way. In addition, for more than 10 years, Cosmin has put the "fun" in Funky Citizens, an association that does activism and civic education since 2012.

About Cosmin Pojoranu

Cosmin Pojoranu is a jack of all trades, master of some: he wrote prose from middle school to high school (Coșbuc, good high school), flirted with journalism, went through copywriting and PR to reach civic activism. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in 2008 and then spent a year in Barcelona for an intensive master's degree on Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media. He co-founded the associations Oricum (2005) and Funky Citizens (2012).

He has a multidisciplinary experience, he likes to make the world laugh, agglutinate communities, roll up his sleeves and put his bones to work in startups or projects at a (new) beginning. He currently collaborates with Agora Robotics, a Romanian startup that makes industrial cleaning robots, but also with Buletin de Bucharest, where he contributes editorially and graphically.
