About the event
The photography business module provides an introduction to how you can earn money as a photographer. Sorin Florea, professional photographer for over 20 years and active in both commercial and artistic photography, will coordinate this module. First you will find out what are the components of the industry and the particularities of each one (event photography, advertising, family, stars, photojournalism, etc.). Then we'll discuss what it takes to break into the market in each of these components (your path as a photographer will branch out depending on what you want to do). The second lesson is about what skills you need to develop depending on the type of photography you choose and what real life looks like in the photography business. The third is focused on the business plan and is practical. During this time you will also learn about the pitch, make presentations, practice your skills as a photographer and your work.
It's a perfect exercise for anyone struggling with too many unfinished ideas, projects started and abandoned, or simply a creative block.
